Hey thanks for your willingness to help and your fast response. This mailing list is cooler than I thought. So I used GRUB last time when I tried to install Redhat. I put it on the 1st partition, the one with Windows installed on it. I don't know if that's the wrong place to put it or what. But one thing I did notice was that under the choices it had, it had Redhat and DOS instead of Windows XP. I need to get this right this time. I don't want to go through the hassle of having to reinstall Windows again. Not that I would be losing much this time, but it's a pain. But I'll try to install through the text installer again and see if the video card is detected. Thanks again for your help. I'm trying to become as "computer-nerdish" as some of you guys are. It's so cool. I'm obviously still learning.
