i have a digital video camera and want to record some video... but i want to record it straight to the laptop, instead of onto a tape first and then importing it.
i am on a powerbook, using iMovie. the camera has USB, DVi, and S-Video outs (and perhaps firewire, i'm not positive).
i have never used iMovie before, but it seems pretty straight forward. the instructions for iMovie say that to import video, you should first record it and then import it via firewire.
well... i don't have a firewire cable and i don't want to record it first. is there anyway that i can use s-video and record it live, straight in?
