I have a IBM ThinkPad T22 with some funky hardware by linux standards I think. Such as a superDrive DVD or 3 1/2 floppy, a combo ethernet/ modem card, etc... The point is, when I load linux RH9 , before it even gets to set up, it will hang 2 times out of 3 where it probes the PCI on the system and finds (even after it states that there are two devices sharing the same port on the line above) "redundant entry on pci_table - send output of lspci -vv, this error message (something something something), <and something else> to [EMAIL PROTECTED]. Sometimes it will load!     Also, maybe because of the hanging system, I cannot create new openOffice documents. It just beep at me when I click in the window or try to close it.
Even more is that at one of my logins KDE will have problems and not accept command and just make some wierd screen effects like multiple mouse pointers, no repainting, etc.... It opens a blank window and then stops.
Please help all you more experienced linux-ers out there, I just got out of a bad relationship with Billy G's brainchild and I need a rebound OS!
Thanks
