Hello world, I installed Mandrake 9.2 at the install fest today. We couldn't resolve one problem with XFree. I have a monitor that is 1024 by 768. on an Inspiron 1100 BIOS A21. X only uses 800x600. The funny part is that the resolution is set to 1024x768. The only part you can see is the center of the screen. When you move the mouse to the bottom of the viewable area it will scroll down automatically to show you the bottom of the screen. You can go in any direction by moving the mouse to the other edge. Where do I start? XFree 86 4.3 - already tried the patch for my computer.
