Oh, wait, this is the newbies list. We're supposed to be helpful.

It sounds to me like a possible driver conflict. But it's kinda hard to
debug long distance. Perhaps someone is anyone willing to make a house
call? I'd offer, but I doubt I'd be able to solve it.

If worse comes to worst, how would you feel about using a PS/2 mouse in
Linux? (That should get someone upset enough to offer a real solution.)
