First off.. I made a mistake.. I have Fedora installed.

the mouse I have is a ps2 ... both the keyboard and the mouse are cordless but the keyboard works in linux.  Once I boot Linux up I am not able to do anything.. I can log and that is it.  Is there another way to enter the command that were suggested?  The first time I used the OS after installing the mouse worked just fine.. but when I used it the next day it would not let me use the mouse.
