I'd like to thank everyone for coming to the meeting last night. We had about 100 people show up from the BYU UUG, PLUG, SLLUG, and other BYU students and faculty. That's pretty good considering MS had about 80 people at their presentation (and 1/2 of those people were bribed with pizza).
About the first 1/3 of the meeting was about FLOSS (Free/Libre and Open Source Software), and the other 2/3 was about Samba 3 and Q & A time. If someone wants to go into more detail they can. :-) His slides can be found at: http://samba.org/~jht/Presentations/FLOSS-UUGBUY-20040219.pdf Pictures from the presentation: (they are pretty low res) http://samba.org/~jht/PresPics/ Video: Coming soon... Thanks again, and I hope we can have another big meeting like this soon. :-) -Evan -- /********************************************************************\ Evan McNabb: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> http://evan.mcnabbs.org System Administrator, CS Department, BYU GnuPG Fingerprint: 53B5 EDCA 5543 A27A E0E1 2B2F 6776 8F9C 6A35 6EA5 \********************************************************************/
