Hello All! I'm still looking for people to volunteer either themselves or others to help out with the Don't Fear the Penguin meeting on September 16 (the thursday after the Installfest). If you are willing to help out, please email me!
Here's what I have so far (if you think the information here is incorrect, please let me know immediately!): KDE and Gnome: Jamie Cummings Applications: Scott Kraczek Editors (particular focus on nano/pico): Command-Line: Scott Robertson Installing Software: Setting up Wireless: Each of these (with the possible exception of KDE/Gnome) should be between 5 or 10 minutes unless you talk to me and explain why you need more/less time... Also, with any luck (and some free time), I'm hoping to get together a little 1 page handout to give to all the newbies that'll hopefully have some of the more important information that they might want to have written down. So, if you're presenting, and have anything in particular that you think should be on there, please let me know by Saturday night! Otherwise, I'll be coming up with it by myself and hoping it coincides in one way or another with what's presented! Thanks to everyone who's volunteered already! ~Erin Sharmahd -- -- userfriendly.org -- _______________________________________________ newbies mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://phantom.byu.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/newbies
