November 18th Joseph Hall will be presenting to the UUG, "Cooking: The Ultimate Hack". Some of you might have had the priviledge of going to the meeting he did for PLUG recently, if so, you know how cool this will be.
Offical Blurb: "Throughout the centuries, many great (and many not so great) chefs have been hiding a way of life, one that has only relatively recently been discovered by those who now call ourselves geeks. What was once a noble art known only to the kitchen staff has turned into a science, explored by the likes of authors and personalities such as Robert Wolke, Shirley Corriher and Alton Brown. Join us as Hacker Chef Joseph Hall taps into this world and demonstrates how the only difference between cooking and programming is the medium." If you'd like to attend and eat food, please RSVP to [EMAIL PROTECTED], or directly to Andrew or I. Also you will need to bring $3 to help pay for the ingediants that will be used. It will be great meeting, and a chance to take a bit of a break from the rigors of school/work/life. So come and enjoy some good food! note: if you just want to come, but not eat, go for it. -- Scott Paul Robertson http://spr.mahonri5.net GnuPG FingerPrint: 09ab 64b5 edc0 903e 93ce edb9 3bcc f8fb dc5d 7601
