[newbies] ATI Radeon 9000 on FC3

I need some help installing the drivers for my video card... I've tried 
ATI's drivers, and I've also successfully installed them using the 
livna RPM, but a fglrxinfo still shows MESA doing OpenGL.

Could someone point me in the right direction for help on installing 
the correct drivers?

I'm running FC3 (2.6.9-1.667smp) trying to get an ATI Radeon 9000 to 
use its hardware 3d acceleration.

(I'm brand new to this list, so please excuse me if I've asked 
something amiss......)
