I'm busy on the same construction site with the publication_ldap. After all
troubles with opensslconf.h (krb5.h missing) I got rid of rpm package
openssl-devel-0.9.7a-20 and made an link 'ln -s
<my-openssl-0.9.7/include/openssl /usr/include'. That also worked.

Betreff: Server 2.0.0 beta3 build problems

I have come across a problem with compiling newpki-server 2.0.0 beta3
on RedHat Linux 7.3 using gcc 3.2.3.

The particular problem is the publication-ldap code. I have openssl
in /usr/local/ssl and the configure script does not allow this as a
configuration option and thus the compilation fails. If I add the
appropriate openssl include to CPPFLAGS and openssl lib to LDFLAGS all
works fine.

The configure in Server/Linux allows one to specify the location of
openssl installation. It would be helpful to be able to specify this
in this directory also.

I am not proficient with autoconf otherwise I would provide a patch.

Frederic, thank you for the project. I am looking forward to using
it.

Regards

Paul
