My configure string for newpki server: ./configure --with-openssl-lib=/usr/local/ssl/lib --with-openssl-include=/usr/local/ssl/include --with-newpki-include=/root/newpki-lib-2.0.0/src --with-mysql-lib=/usr/local/lib/mysql
I also add -D_GNU_SOURCE in the DEFS section of the Makefile.
my machine details: [EMAIL PROTECTED] newpki-server-2.0.0]# uname -a Linux Darthvader 2.4.7-10 #1 Thu Sep 6 17:27:27 EDT 2001 i686 unknown
The gcc is the one that came with this distro: gcc version 2.96

Did you compile and install newpki-lib ?
"/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lnewpki" means that it can't find libnewpki.so, you need tos specify where it is.

That's not an error but a warning. I don't see why it should stop.
