Hi,

I had the same problem and resolved it by doing this way:
First, get openssl-0.9.7e.tar.gz and compile it with “rpmbuild –ta openssl-0.9.7e.tar.gz”
Then you will find libcrypto.so.0.9.7 and libssl.so.0.9.7 in /usr/src/redhat/BUILD/openssl-0.9.7e, so just copy them to /usr/lib/
Finally, install newpki-lib and newpki-server with the option -–nodeps.

If it seems to work, I have a problem with newpki-client which require wxGTK. The interface isn’t stable and right when you start the client those error occure:
Gdk-CRITICAL **: file gdkgc.c: line 689 (gdk_gc_set_clip_rectangle): assertion ‘gc != NULL’ failed.
Gdk-CRITICAL **: file gdkdraw.c: line 90 (gdk_draw_rectangle): assertion ‘gc != NULL’ failed.

If those errors doesn’t seem to be really critical (newpki-client does start) after few manipulations, the soft simply die…
Does anyone have an idea?

Aurlien.
