I've deployed a PKI in my company on outlook, outlook2000, thunderbird,
mozilla mail and netscape(and web browsers etc).
the problem is that all the docs are in French :)
you can find a lots of docs on the net to deploy a PKI in a company and
how to install certificates on mail clients etc.
I can't traduce the French doc I made for now but take a look on the
chapter linked to certificate properties because you will need to make
certificates with good properties to use it on firefox, ie, etc...
It's the hardest work in a PKI deployment ... to test, to modify, to
test, to modify, to test, to modify, to test, to modify, etc...
If you need further help ask and I'll try to give you a hand.
now you have few sites which would help you on your "user end deployment" :
-the site of thawte verisign have a lots of tutorials "how to install
on your mail client... etc..."
