Milosevic family banned from visits
BELGRADE, Yugoslavia, June 30 (UPI) -- Members of
Slobodan Milosevic's family will not be able to travel
to The Netherlands to visit the former Yugoslav
president in the international criminal tribunal's
prison at Scheveningen at present because they are
banned from traveling to European Union countries,
diplomatic sources in Belgrade said.
The EU list of banned persons, issued nearly two
years ago, includes Milosevic's wife Mirjana Markovic,
his son Marko, daughter Marija and daughter-in-law
Milica Gajic. Milosevic himself had been on the list
before being extradited to The Hague tribunal on
Thursday.
