However, this is the case not only for the spy. It is also a distinguishing feature of a journalist. Journalists are often attentive to details. So, what defines the terrorist act's object in New York? Namely, why the twins? Really, in New York there are some more significant sky-scrapers, for example the Empire State Building, the Rockfeller Center, or some other buildings symbolizing US imperial power. Why did the Pentagon become the second target? There are the CIA residence, the White House, and the capital. It is clear that the choice of the suicide terrorists had made sense. Though the picture of a half-wild Arab created by mass media completely excludes a deeper symbolic sense of the act. It would not be decent to speak about a mystical sense of the act: the enemy must be cruel, cowardly, and stupid, like Fascists in Soviet films from the war time. Though internal, spiritual life in a hut somewhere in the East could be more exciting than that one in an ancient mansion in New England. This seems to be the case, because the purity of material life is usually compensated with the secret life's richness. The life of secret Eastern orders and mystic schools inspired the medieval astrologers of Europe. According to so-called mundane astrology, which studies the planets' influence on states and nations' lives, the Twins (Gemini) are a U.S. symbol. Therefore, annihilating real "twins" in New York could be regarded as a symbolic annihilation of the US. The organized group of suicide terrorists is one of the main mysteries of the American tragedy. Mundane astrology seems to be able to unriddle this mystery. If the suicide terrorists were really intending to annihilate America, which must die as a result of the most grandiose magical ritual in the history, many things could be explained. The US seem to be full of symbols. It is a kind of instinctive compensation for a lack of ancient roots in this land. That is why the Pentagon, built as a five-corned figure, could be regarded by an Asian mystic as a huge pentagram, especially from the plane. So, the hit in the very centre of the pentagon was an act of the tearing of a pentagram. The magical symbol has stopped to act and to protect America. To where was the fourth aircraft flying? What was the destiny? Camp David, they say. One more symbol that is probably present in the occult calculation. The mystic terrorists could very possibly try to complete their mystical ritual. Apropos, the terrorist act was committed on Mars day, which is the most auspicious for attacks, aggression, and force solving problems. The recent circumstance is hardly accidental. Searching for pragmatic reasons of the attack, we cannot find any. Every attack could be answered with retribution. Do bin Laden, mullah Omar, Saddam, or Kaddafi need it? Nobody has taken responsibility for the terrorist act yet. The people who commited this act seem not to see any sense in informing the enemy about the death blow they have realized, maybe not completely realized. Is there somebody behind these occult terrorists? This somebody must have calculated following steps without any hope for mysticism. He had the whole plan of campaign in the Central Asia, because it would be absurd to think that the detailed plan of measures had been worked out just for 10 days from the moment of the terrorist act to the time of landing troops in Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. Any general staff could not work so fast. Somebody in the US seems to dream about brilliant prospect of controlling the whole south of Euroasia. A side effect of the operation is the liquidation of the geopolitical role of Russia on this continent, because both historical directions of Russian expansion - the Caucasian and the Central Asian - will be cut off. Russia will be simply driven into Europe, and there nothing could be expected besides stopping the development. At the same time, America takes a dangerous path: possible defeat in the fight for control over Euroasia means the end's beginning as it has happened with the USSR. Here, the Islamite mystics' chances are not so bad. Mullah Omar understands it, still preparing his troops not for a fight against the U.S., but for the invasion of Middle Asia. Afghanistan could be occupied during several days, though the occupation does not mean it will be controlled. Economical factors that were support for the American expansion in Japan, Europe, and Latin America could not be decisive here. The method of feeding "good" Islamite regimes and punishing with hungry "bad" regimes rebounds: the bad regimes become stronger, and the good regimes make efforts to become worse. The prosperous Saudi Arabia looks at Afghanistan with religious trembling. The children of rich parents from the Near East go to poor lands to fight for freedom of their coreligionists, and the first of them is Osama bin Laden. What attracts Hattab to poor Chechnya? Why do Tajiks, Uzbeks, and even Tatars go to fight in Afghanistan instead of building capitalism and attaining s high living standard? We still cannot answer to the question as to what the USSR was doing in Afghanistan. Now, we even do not understand why Afghanistan was so necessary for the internal stability of the USSR. We have never understood the nature of our own country and our role in this world. We have met with another nation's history, which is developing on our former territory.
