"The guests welcomed the considerable changes in the legal and political system realized by the Yugoslav authorities in a relatively short time, and especially the contribution of the recently signed agreement on redefining the relations within the Yugoslav federation to regional stabilization". - This kind of policy towards Yugoslavia is pursued by Canadian ambassador here since she arrived. On the Empire's orders, I presume.

I sincerely hope that they will give the text of it to the Quebec government and parliament and recommend it...My God!! Maybe they like Canada so much that they prefer to have THREE Canadas (and little blood) to only ONE!

YUGOSLAV PRESIDENT CONFERS WITH CANADIAN PARLIAMENTARIANS BELGRADE, May 16 (Tanjug) - Yugoslav President Vojislav Kostunica conferred Thursday with a Canadian parliamentary delegation headed by House of Commons Speaker Peter Milliken on the prospects for the future development of bilateral political and economic cooperation.

The guests welcomed the considerable changes in the legal and political system realized by the Yugoslav authorities in a relatively short time, and especially the contribution of the recently signed agreement on redefining the relations within the Yugoslav federation to regional stabilization.

They underlined that this has created a positive climate for the fostering of all-round cooperation, and especially for investments by Canadian businessmen in Yugoslavia.

Kostunica pointed to the importance of fostering bilateral economic cooperation for resolving the difficult economic and social situation in Yugoslavia, the president's office said.
