MONTENEGRO PRESIDENT MILO DJUKANOVIC:
THE SOVEREIGN BLOC GOVERNMENT SOON
Podgorica - The sovereign bloc Government will soon be formed, and I am
counting on co-operation and responsibility of the leadership of all
three parties of Montenegro's democratic bloc - said Montenegro's
President Milo Djukanovic in his interview to Banja Luka daily
"Nezavisne novine" (Independent Newspaper).
According to Djukanovic, the recent victory of the democratic bloc at
local elections proves that Montenegro marches firmly and irreversibly
along the European road and enters a new phase of its own development,
which enables faster implementation of economic and political reforms.
Djukanovic sees the Belgrade Agreement as an opportunity for solving
problems between Montenegro and Serbia according to European model,
"regardless of whether they will be two separate states tomorrow, or in
a sort of state union".

VUJANOVIC WILL NOT RESIGN
Podgorica - The Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) high official
Miodrag Vukovic denied the information that Prime Minister Filip
Vujanovic would hand in his resignation at the Montenegro's Parliament
session, scheduled for Wednesday (22 May).
Since the Liberal Alliance (LS) broke the coalition agreement, the vote
on dismissal of President of the Parliament Vesna Perovic may be
expected in the Parliament - Vukovic said.
COUNCIL FOR PRIVATIZATION OF MONTENEGRIN GOVERNMENT INTERNATIONAL TENDER
FOR "ALBATROS", "MIMOZA" AND "PRIMORJE"
Podgorica - An international tender will be made for hotels "Albatros"
(Ulcinj), "Mimoza" and "Primorje" (Tivat) - it was decided by the
Council for Privatization of Montenegrin Government.
The tender will be announced in a renewed procedure by combination of
methods - selling of a minority share of stocks, signing in of new
stocks issued by companies, and pursuing the state of capitalization
with the right to ensure the control share of stocks, after the
presentation of a business plan by the buyer of the minor share of
stocks.
HRH THE PRINCE CONSORT OF DENMARK VISITED KOTOR AND PERAST ARCHITECTURAL
HERITAGE PROTECTION
Podgorica - The President of the pan-European foundation "Europa
Nostra", His Royal Highness the Prince Consort of Denmark, and
Montenegro Minister for Culture Branimir Popovic, visited yesterday
Kotor and Perast. They talked about protection and enhancement of
architectural heritage of the region, a part of the World cultural
heritage.
During the meeting of HRH the Prince Consort of Denmark, Minister
Popovic and representatives of the local authorities of Kotor, it was
announced that the co-operation with "Europa Nostra" would be continued.
At a recently held Congress of the pan-European organization "Europa
Nostra" in Dubrovnik (Croatia), a Declaration for protection of the
cultural heritage of Kotor has also been proclaimed, having in mind
especially the fortress of Kotor.
BAR: SECOND INTERNATIONAL TELEVISION FESTIVAL
THE MEDIA AND MULTIPLE CULTURE
Podgorica - The second international festival of state televisions of
the Southeast Europe will take place in Bar, from 23 May to 25 May - it
was said at the yesterday's press conference.
The festival will welcome representatives of numerous televisions,
experts for the media from the countries of the region, as well as
guests from Germany, France and Slovenia.
The central theme of the Festival will be elaborated into two plans -
broadcast presentation, debates on transformation of state televisions
into public televisions, position of minority nations, the way their
beliefs and cultures are treated in a multinational environment, and
their relation with multiple culture of the multinational environment.

Podgorica - Uskoro ce se formirati vlada suverenistickog bloka, a u tom
procesu racunam na kooperativnost i odgovornost rukovodstva sve tri
partije crnogorskog demokratskog bloka - rekao je predsjednik Crne Gore
Milo Djukanovic, u intervjuu za banjalucke "Nezavisne novine".
Djukanovic je ocijenio "da pobjeda partija demokratskog bloka na
nedavnim lokalnim izborima potvrdjuje da Crna Gora stabilno i nepovratno
koraca evropskim putem i ulazi u novu fazu razvoja u kojoj je moguce
brze dinamizirati ekonomske i politicke reforme".
Djukanovic smatra da Beogradski sporazum stvara sansu da se problemi
izmedju Crne Gore i Srbije rjesavaju po evropskom modelu, "bez obzira
hoce li to sjutra biti dvije nezavisne drzave, ili ce biti u nekoj formi
drzavne zajednice".

Podgorica - Visoki funkcioner Demokratske partije socijalista (DPS)
Miodrag Vukovic demantovao je informacije da ce premijer Filip Vujanovic
podnijeti ostavku na sjednici crnogorskog Parlamenta, koja je zakazana
za sjutra 22. maja.
S obzirom da je Liberalni savez (LS) raskinuo koalicioni sporazum, za
ocekivati je da se u Skupstini glasa o razrjesenju predsjednika
Parlamenta Vesne Perovic - rekao je Vukovic.

Tivta bice raspisan medjunarodni tender - odlucila je Tenderska komisija
Savjeta za privatizaciju Vlade Crne Gore.
Tender ce biti raspisan u obnovljenom postupku kombinovanjem metoda -
prodaje manjinskog paketa akcija i upisa novih akcija emitovanih od
strane preduzeca i dokapitalizacije sa pravom obezbjedjenja kontrolnog
paketa akcija, nakon donosenja biznis plana od kupca manjinskog paketa
akcija.
DANSKI PRINC HENRIK POSJETIO KOTOR I PERAST
ZASTITA SPOMENIKA OD DEVASTACIJE
Podgorica - Predsjednik panevropske federacije "Evropa nostra" - danski
princ Henrik i crnogorski ministar kulture Branimir Popovic posjetili su
juce Kotor i Perast, gdje su tom prilikom naznacili glavne pravce u
obnovi i valorizaciji spomenika kulture, koji se nalaze na listi
svjetske kulturne bastine.
U susretu princa Henrika, ministra Popovica i predstavnika lokalne
samouprave Kotora receno je da ce saradnja sa "Evropa nostra" biti
nastavljena.
Na Kongresu panevropske federacije "Evropa nostra" odrzanom nedavno u
Dubrovniku prihvacena je i Deklaracija u zastiti kulturne bastine
Kotora, posebno sa osvrtom na kotorsku tvrdjavu.
BAR: DRUGI SUSRET DRZAVNIH TELEVIZIJA ZEMALJA JUGOISTOCNE EVROPE OD 23.
DO 25. MAJA MEDIJI I MULTIKULTURA
Podgorica - Drugi susreti javnih drzavnih televizija zemalja jugoistocne
Evrope odrzace se u Baru od 23. do 25. maja - receno je na jucerasnjoj
press konferenciji organizatora te manifestacije.
U radu Susreta ucestvovace predstavnici televizija i eksperti za medije
iz zemalja regiona, kao i gosti iz Njemacke, Francuske i Slovenije.
Centralna tema Susreta bice elaborirana u dva plana - prezentacijom
emisija, kao i debatama o transformaciji drzavnih u javne televizije i
polazajima manjinskih naroda, tretmanu njihovih vjera i kultura u
visenacionalnoj sredini i odnos manjinskih naroda prema multikulturi
visenacionalne sredine.
