Established in 1993, Stammbaum is a publication to further German-Jewish
genealogy. It is an English-language publication that supports research and
publication of reliable family histories. Accordingly, it facilitates the
exchange of helpful and sound information, techniques, sources, and
archival material. It includes human interest and anecdotal material, which
add verisimilitude to genealogical data. Stammbaum, while very much part of
Jewish tradition and culture, is a secular publication, sponsored by
volunteer leaders. It collaborates with other individuals, groups and
publications with similar interests.
