PRESIDENT OF MONTENEGRO MILO DJUKANOVIC:
THREE YEARS FOR THE UNION
Podgorica - I think that the union should be given a chance during the
next three years in order to see if it could represent the interests of
the citizens of Serbia and Montenegro - President of Montenegro Milo
Djukanovic stated to Reuters.
He also underlined that it was both in Serbia and Montenegro's interest
to have the Belgrade Agreement implemented in the best way possible in
order to create conditions for the European integration of the two
states.

Podgorica - Djukanovic was and still is the key player in drafting of
the constitutional charter of the future state union of Serbia and
Montenegro - Christina Gallach, the Spokesperson of High Representative
of the European Union (EU), stated to SENSE Agency.
We know that Djukanovic can implement the reforms, as we also expect him
to - stated Gallach.
Podgorica`s media report that Milo Djukanovic`s victory at the
parliamentary elections impressed the Brussels diplomats who have
unofficially expressed great satisfaction with the voters` turnout in
Montenegro.

TO SPEED UP PASSING OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL CHARTER
Podgorica - The European officials Stephan Lehne, Fred Ekhart and
Geoffrey Barrett talked in Podgorica last night with members of the
Constitutional Commission Igor Luksic and Zoran Zizic.
Their talk was dedicated to solving the problem of the slowdown in
drafting the constitutional charter.
High Representative of the European Union (EU) for Foreign Policy Stefan
Lehne is expected to meet in Podgorica today with Montenegro's topmost
officials: President of the Republic Milo Djukanovic, Prime Minister
Filip Vujanovic, Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Rifat Rastoder and
Finance Minister Miroslav Ivanisevic.
The EU chiefs of diplomacy in Luxembourg have recently asked the
authorities in Belgrade and Podgorica to adopt the constitutional
charter not later than November 7, when the Council of Europe is
expected to decide about the accession of the Federal republic of
Yugoslavia (FRY) into the organization - report Podgorica media.

AGREEMENTS ABOUT THE CONTINUATION OF THE WORK
Podgorica - The Co-Presiding of the Commission for drafting the
constitutional charter are expected to meet in Belgrade today in order
to talk about the continuation of the work on the document.
In Belgrade we can only agree to speed up the work on drafting the
constitutional charter of Serbia and Montenegro and schedule a new
session of the constitutional commission - said a member of the
commission, Miodrag Vukovic.
Coordinator of the Montenegrin delegation in the constitutional
commission Dragan Kujovic said that the constitutional charter should
not determine the manner of electing representatives, and that it should
be left to the laws passed by the member states.

kontaktima, izrazili veliko zadovoljstvo birackim odzivom u Crnoj Gori.

sinoc su u Podgorici razgovarali sa clanovima ustavne komisije Igorom
Luksicem i Zoranom Zizicem.
Tema tih razgovora bilo je otklanjanje zastoja u pisanju ustavne
povelje.
Sa savjetnikom visokog predstavnika Evropske unije (EU) za spoljnu
politiku Stefanom Leneom, danas ce u Podgorici razgovarati najvisi
crnogorski drzavni funkcioneri - predsjednik Republike Milo Djukanovic,
premijer Filip Vujanovic, potpredsjednik Skupstine Rifat Rastoder i
ministar finansija Miroslav Ivanisevic.
Sefovi diplomatija EU su nedavno u Luksemburgu zatrazili od vlasti u
Beogradu i Podgorici da ustavnu povelju usvoje prije 7.novembra, kada bi
Savjet Evrope (SE) trebalo da odlucuje o prijemu Savezne Republike
Jugoslavije (SRJ) - Srbije i Crne Gore u svoje clanstvo - navodi
podgoricki mediji.

DOGOVORI O DALJEM RADU
Podgorica - Kopredsjedavajuci Komisije za pisanje ustavne povelje Srbije
i Crne Gore sastace se danas u Beogradu, gdje bi trebalo da razgovaraju
o daljem radu na izradi tog dokumenta.
U Beogradu jedino mozemo da se dogovorimo da ubrzamo rad na izradi
povelje i zakazemo novu sjednicu ustavne komisije - rekao je clan te
komisije Miodrag Vukovic.
Koordinator crnogorske delegacije u ustavnoj komisiji Dragan Kujovic
izjavio je da ustavna povelja ne treba da odredjuje nacin izbora
poslanika, vec to treba ostaviti zakonima koje usvajanju parlamenti
drzava clanica.
DEMOKRATSKA PARTIJA SOCIJALISTA CRNE GORE:
INICIRACEMO USVAJANJE MEDIJSKIH ZAKONA
Podgorica - Predsjednik Izvrsnog odbora Demokratske partije socijalista
(DPS) Mladen Vukcevic najavio je da ce nova vlada, koja ce ubrzo biti
formirana, odmah primijeniti nove medijske zakone i usvojiti reformske
zakone, koje je dosadasnja parlamentarna vecina odbila.
Set reformskih medijskih zakona pripremila je Medijska radna grupa u
saradnji sa OEBS-om i prema njima drzavni radio i televizija treba da
budu pretvoreni u javni servis.
