The West Strongly Determined to Conquer Whole World
Well-known philosopher warns Russia of becoming a clerical-police state
Alexander Zinovyev said in his exclusive interview to the Agency of
Political News: "It stands the reason that a social forecast is meant
not for tomorrow, not even for a month or a year of the nearest future.
A social forecast is meant for a whole historic era. First and foremost,
I will talk about the 21st century, about its major peculiarity. To put
it short, the major phenomenon of the current century is the global war,
which is called globalization. This war is already on: the Cold War
stage is gone, while September 11th of 2001 was the start of the new,
Hot War stage. This war is waged by the united West, which wants to
conquer the entire humanity and to establish its global reign. However,
the West does so not because of its stupidity or sick intentions. The
West does so due to the historic necessity. Without this war, the West
can not survive or preserve the level, at which its society lives."
Zinovyev believes that the basic opponents of the Western supersociety
are: the Islamic world, and the Asian communism with China at the head.
"The war against the Islamic world is waged under the disguise of the
need to fight with the international terrorism. A military campaign is
about to start in Iraq; other Muslim countries are likely to be attacked
in the future as well. If the West is through with them, there will
definitely be a fight with China."
"Speaking of the situation with Russia. Russia capitulated in front of
the West by the end of the 20th century. The anti-communist coup that
took place during Mikhail Gorbachev and Boris Yeltsin's era was
legalized . The Post-Soviet social system has been formed. This system
is going to be present in the country for a very long period of time. At
least, there will not be any changes there in the nearest future. There
are no people in Russia at the moment, who would be capable of changing
this system. The majority of the Russian people do not mind this system,
although a lot of them acknowledge that it makes Russia degrade in every
way."
Alexander Zinovyev is certain that Russia becomes an obedient tool for
the West: "This process will continue in 2003, for it is good for those
at power. Their financial position becomes better and better, their
obligations are not burdensome, they feel absolutely fine from the
political point of view. That is why, they will do their damnedest, if
someone tries to change the situation. Even if they try to change
something themselves, the West, the USA will show them their place
immediately."
What does Alexander Zinovyev think of Russia's way in the nearest
future? He is certain that Russia's most probable evolution way is to
strengthen its state power, the presidential administration, first and
foremost. Zinovyev believes that it is vital to strengthen the influence
of the Orthodox religion, which runs for the role of the state ideology.
"On the whole, Russia becomes a clerical-police state. This is its
perspective for the new year. I do not foresee any fundamental
deviations from this tendency in the nearest future, the coming
parliamentary elections are not going to change anything. Even if
something incredible happens, if communists get the majority of seats in
the parliament, the State Duma will remain an obedient tool in the hands
of the presidential power. If communists dare to say something, they
will be destroyed."
Speaking about the problem of globalization, Alexander Zinovyev stated
that the way, which the humanity stepped on at the end of the 20th
century, was a disastrous way to go for a lot of nations of the planet,
including several Western countries. "However, we can witness the
anti-globalization protest now too. One of its forms is what is called
the world terrorism. In addition to that, there is the anti-globalist
movement, which also becomes the anti-American one. This movement is not
organized very well yet. It does not have either a single center or a
clear ideology. Nevertheless, it has a future to make, which means that
the movement will develop and grow next year. I think that the
anti-globalist movement will become a lot stronger in 2003. It will be
able to affect the process of the world evolution. I mean evolution, not
revolution. Revolutions are out of the question at the moment."
