The traditional cooperation between the Military Academy and the Yugoslav shooting federation has already at the beginning of 2003 gained new and wider dimensions. Having recently been granted the approval by the Serbian and Montenegrin Armed Forces General Staff, our senior team, both male and female, were given the opportunity to conduct a seven-day preparations in order to participate in the upcoming continental and planetary competitions, in the training facilities of this educational and scientific institution (a shooting range for air and small-calibre weapons). Simultaneously, this was the beginning of the cycle of their preparations for the summer Olympic games in Athens 2004. The visit of the Serbian and Montenegrin shooting team members was also used for organising meetings with the members of this institution, in which the professional officers of our army are being educated and are going through advanced training.
