Top US General Shows Up For Wrong Conflict |

| Bosnia -- The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff,
General Richard Myers, showed up late and for the wrong war today,
Pentagon sources told The Spoof. Apparently, General Myers took a wrong
turn at Turkey and ended up in Bosnia. Myers, who was expected to lead U.S. Forces in Iraq, showed up in Jankovic, Bosnia looking totally perplexed and asking passersby, �Hey, buddy, you know how to get to Baghdad?� Pentagon officials expressed concern and embarrassment over the snafu. �The directions we gave him weren�t very good,� said Colonel Martin J. Chuzzlewit. �And we forgot to wake him up at 4 a.m. so he could catch the early bud to Fallujah.� The Pentagon issued a statement that they were working quickly to remedy the situation. �We�ve sent a cab to pick him up and take him to Iraq,� sources said. �Everything will be fine, provided he doesn�t leave the bus station and doesn�t talk to strangers.� |
