Russian emergency situations minister to leave for Balkans

MOSCOW. March 19 (Iunterfax) - The head of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry Sergei Shoigu will be sent to the Balkans within the next few days in relation to the escalating tensions in Kosovo, head of the State Duma's international affairs committee Konstantin Kosachyov reported.

"In the next few days, by order of the Russian authorities, Emergency Situations Minister Shoigu is to leave for the Balkans," Kosachyov said at a Duma session.
