Lavrov reminds Council of Europe of Serb refugees

NEW DELHI - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who is currently on a
visit to India, has drawn the Council of Europe's attention to what he
called the forgotten problem of Serb refugees.

"Serbs remain the largest refugee group in Europe:

500,000 Serb refugees [from the former Yugoslav republics] are on the
territory of Serbia," Lavrov told a news conference following talks with his
Indian counterpart Natwar Singh in New Delhi on Friday.
