WASHINGTON â The Delegation of the Serbian Orthodox Church
wrapped up its visit to the United States with various one-on-one meetings
with members of Congress from both the Senate and House on April 12 â 14
2005. The meetings consisted of a report by members of the
Delegation on the results of the previous meetings with U.N. Secretary
Anan, U.S. State Department, and White House advisors. The SOC
Delegation met with the following: Senator George Voinovich (R-OH),
Senator Sam Brownback (R-KS-Chairman, Helsinki Commission), Serbian
Caucus member Congresswoman Melissa Bean (D-IL), Serbian Caucus member
Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-OH), Serbian Caucus member Congressman
Trent Franks (R-AZ), and Congressman Joe Pitts (R-PA). Moreâ
