Subject: URGENT

To all,
I have just learned that Col. Milovan Milutinovic (Public Relations person for the Bosnia Serbs during the war--who never fired a shot nor commanded troops to fire a shot) has been summoned to the Hague for interrogation to see whether they will indict him as a war criminal.
Mr. Milutinovic has published two books on the media during the war in Bosnia. The latest one contains a photo of Gen. Mladic at a meeting (in a tent) with UN/NATO Rupert Smith at the very time the Srebrenica massacre was allegedly occurring. Mr. Milutinovic (the only journalist present) raised a corner of the tent and took the photo.
Obviously, someone wants to silence him and discredit his work.
He is scheduled to appear the first part of September (now awaiting information on the exact date). There is not much time to raise voice by sending letters to the Hague in advance of his appearance.
More to come--
Wanda
If journalists/authors are to be subjected to war crimes accusations, there are much better people with whom to start than Mr. Milutinovic.
