Your Excellency,

The recent visit to Montenegro and Kosovo ( The Serbian Province of Kosovo and Metohija, under the occupation by the NATO forces and under the nominal administration by the UN civilian authorities-UNMIK, and policed by the international police force since June 1999.) by Swiss Foreign Minister Ms. Micheline Calmy-Rey got a broad attention of the media in Europe and USA and stirred many debates over Internet, as well.

What surprised, disappointed and even shocked most of the recipients of the news was a blatant and aggressive tone used by this chief Swiss diplomat in support of the illegitimate aspirations for independence pushed by some extremist forces in these regions. The myth of the traditional Swiss neutrality has thus been dispelled, though not for the first time since the onset of the Kosovo crises in the nineties, which is now reaching its dramatic climax.

As a freelance journalist, I have been closely watching the tragic developments in Kosovo since 1997, and have been there many times since. The devastating consequences of the foreign intervention in the region of the nineties, primarily by the US, Germany and Great Britain, have brought about a tremendous suffering to its unfortunate population, the non-Albanians in the first place. By taking side with the Kosovo Albanian insurgents, terrorists, convicted criminals and drug pushers, the Swiss government helped exacerbated the plight of the Serbs, Gypsies and other ethnic minorities persecuted-killed, abducted, tortured, robbed, chased from their homes - by these Albanians. It has been widely publicized of the refuge the Swiss government offered to many Kosovo Albanian hardcore criminals, fugitives from justice, such as Hashim Thachi from the "wanted" Interpol list. He has enjoyed all the privileges of a Swiss citizen and studied on University of Zurich, under the police protection, while running his clandestine drug and weapons trade and working closely with the Western intelligence operatives on coordinating the KLA gang terrorist activities in Kosovo, also fully supported by some NATO governments.

Assuming that foreign ministers are not freelancers but legitimate envoys of their respective governments while visiting foreign countries, then the position took by Ms. Micheline Calmy-Rey, in capacity of the Swiss top diplomat, on Kosovo independence reflected the stand of Swiss governments on this issue. At this point I would ask your government if it is aware of the human catastrophe and disastrous political consequences its abetting of the Kosovo Albanian independence would lead to. Do you, and your government, know of 250,000 Serbs, Gypsies, Turks, Slav Muslims, Egyptians and other non-Albanian minorities expelled from Kosovo by the violent KLA gangs since the NATO forces arrived in June 1999 and the UN administration, UNMIK, took the charge of the Province. Do you know of 1,500 Serbs and Gypsies abducted by Albanian terrorists, before and after June 1999, some of the victims lately found and identified in mass graves in Kosovo, the others still missing. Have you heard of over 150 Serbian Orthodox churches and monasteries, some seven centuries old, desecrated and blown up by Albanians since the NATO  "liberation" of Kosovo in June 1999, the thirty in two days of the Albanian riots of March 2004 alone. Do you, your Excellency, also know of the thousands of Serbian and other non-Albanian homes and other property torched or seized by the

Albanians in Kosovo in the past six years. And this abhorrent activity is still ongoing in the clear view of the present NATO, UMNIK and international police authorities. Your country, commonly viewed as a cradle of justice, democracy and freedom for all, a hospitable and safe haven for the persecuted, a neutral, impartial judge on all international matters, the country highly respected for its humanitarian endeavors worldwide and highly praised for its renown neutrality in the world affairs, has its government assume a role of an unsolicited meddler in sensitive affairs of another country, this time Serbia and its Province of Kosovo and Metohia.

I believe the involvement of Switzerland in the recent wars in the Balkans, in particular its open siding with and supporting the Albanian insurgents in Kosovo, the infamous KLA terrorist army, was a tragic mistake that smeared its shiny image of a role-model society, unique in Europe and

the world, as well. I have visited Switzerland several times since the onset of war in Yugoslavia in 1992 and noticed how lenient and forgiving the Swiss legal system was towards the crimes

committed by the Kosovo Albanian fugitives and “refugees”, welcomed with red carpet by the authorities. On the contrary, the Serbian refugees and even visitors to the friends and families in Switzerland were not permitted entries. My Serbian friend from Zurich, terminally ill, died three years ago while waiting for his sister in Belgrade to get Swiss entry visa. The official irrational hostility towards Serbia and its people has extended to these days, as demonstrated by position your government takes on Kosovo. Does your government represent the voices of its people and executes their will, as expected, or is complying with the demands of the  NATO governments to support their imperialist agenda in the Balkans.

Enclosed you will find a copy of an interview the Swissinfo agency conducted with a Geneva based professor of international policy, Mr. Andre Liebich, on the recent visit of Swiss Foreign Minister, Ms. Micheline Calmy-Rey to Montenegro and Kosovo, along with a few relevant copies on the Kosovo independence subject. Also, a four-footage CD-VHS video and CD-still photo documentaries, covering the 1998-2004 period of Kosovo drama, is enclosed. My own video and photo DOC-collection from Kosovo can be made available upon request.

On my many fact finding trips to Kosovo since 1999 I have seen much of the above documented and experienced some of it myself. I will bring two incidents. In November 1998 my driver, a Serb from Belgrade, was abducted near town of Podujevo, Kosovo by KLA commandos, and has never been heard of since. Being an American citizen I was let go. In May 2004 I was attacked by an Albanian mob in the city of Kosovska Mitrovica when asked for direction in Serbian, since the attackers did not speak English, German and French, I tried in that order( I do not speak Albanian). Fortunately, a French KFOR patrol in a jeep passed by and saved my life.

I would appreciate if you, Your Excellency, read this letter and reviewed the enclosed material,

then pass it to Ms. Micheline Calmy-Rey, to get a glimpse into the reality of Kosovo. You may not know how the Albanian "freedom fighters", Swiss government supports, "struggle" for their seat at the table of European nations. Next time in KosovoI Ms. Calmy-Rey, or any Swiss official, may try a simple test of maturity for the Kosovo Albanians to be independent and become a member of the European community: to stop a passer-by anywhere in Kosovo and ask for time, or direction, in Serbian( not recommended without the escort of armed body guards!).

Thanking you for the time you will spend on reading this letter and reviewing the enclosed

material,

Respectfully yours,
