College Internship

This is an exciting, hands-on, fast paced opportunity!
Designed for an Orthodox Christian college student, this internship offers a modest stipend and/or course credit, with the student making arrangements with his or her university. Internship averages 15-20 hours weekly and is available immediately at the AOCA Archdiocese office of the Department of Development, located at Ss. Peter & Paul Orthodox Church on 10620 River Road in Potomac, Maryland 20854.
Duties: Responsible for supporting a variety of the Archdiocese's national fundraising programs and initiatives, including major gift solicitation and direct mail.
Requires good judgment, the ability to speak and write in a clear and articulate fashion, thorough knowledge of grammar, usage and spelling. The candidate must have strong typing skills and thorough computer knowledge of Microsoft Word programs, including Word and Excel, Office suite. The candidate must be able to maintain confidentiality.
The student should be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university, as a sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student and preferably major in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or other liberal arts background, and be at least 18 years of age.
