OSCE Kosovo mission to host roundtable on parliamentary oversight of security sector     PRISTINA, 17 November 2005 – Effective parliamentary oversight of the security sector is the topic of a roundtable to be held tomorrow in Prishtinë/Priština.   Ambassador Werner Wnendt, Head of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, and Professor Nexhat Daci, President of the Assembly of Kosovo, will open the event.   Organized by the OSCE Mission, the Geneva-based foundation Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF) and the Assembly of Kosovo, the event comes at a time when the competencies in the area of security are planned to be transferred to Kosovo’s Provisional Institutions of Self-Government.
