Sir,

The British ambassador to Serbia, Mr. David Gowen declared in his Christmas speech,

that Serbia should abandon the UN resolution 1244 which stipulates that Kosovo is

an integral part of Serbia, and accept the independence for its southern province,

according to Serbian journalist Pero Simic. Ambassador Gowen said, quote, that “the World

cannot forget what Milosevic did to Albanians”. Let me remind his Excellency, that Milosevic

has been in jail for three years now, and that giving Albanians the independence should not be

the reward of any sort. Besides, if the independence is a consequence of Milosevic’s war in 1999,

what was doing certain Mr. Albert Beya, the so called “minister of foreign affaires of the republic of

Kosovo”, in 1996 in the British Foreign Office, regarding the fact that that gentleman was Albanian citizen

            with Albanian  diplomatic passport?
