Draskovic Offers Internal Independence

Draskovic is on a two-day official visit to Spain, which
will be focused on bilateral relations, SCG integration to Euro-Atlantic
institutions and settling of the future status of Kosovo. At the Royal Elkano
Institute Vuk Draskovic delivered a lecture titled Serbia, Kosovo and
Europe in which he stressed that the Belgrade formula more than
autonomy, less than independence offers a full internal independence to
Kosovo, but without changing and renaming the SCG borders toward Albania and
FYROM.
Draskovic said
that the preservation of territorial integrity of Serbia, the respect of all legitimate rights of
ethnic Albanian majority in Kosovo and the implementation of European minority
rights standards are the essence of Belgrades formula. Must the ethnic
Albanian majority in Kosovo be rewarded with independence for the ethnic
cleansing of the Serb Christians and destruction of their churches and
monasteries. Why should you punish an old European state and its current
pro-European government for crimes, non-European and anti-Serbian politics led
by Milosevics regime, which was eventually defeated by the majority will of
Serbian people, wondered the SCG
FM.
