“Serbian president not welcome at Rugova’s funeral.

Who was Mr. Ibrahim Rugova? Certainly he was the Albanian leader tending to the Kosovo independence,

but comparing him to personalities like Ghandi, or some other humanists is senseless. Where do one find

his humanity ? If it is only for his fellowmen Albanians then, how can one speak about humanity?

Mother Theresa was working for humanity. The word “humanity” looses all its sense when being applied

     in politics.

By not allowing Serbian president to assist the funeral, Albanians openly show their degree of “humanity”,

     and tolerance.

KOSOVAR PRESIDENT TO BE BURIED IN UCK CEMETERY IN GESTURE OF UNITY
Deceased Kosova President Ibrahim Rugova will be buried alongside guerillas from the Kosova Liberation Army (UCK) who were killed in the province's 1998-99 war as a gesture of unity, Reuters reported on 23 January. "His wish was to be buried in the martyrs' graveyard," Reuters quoted a source close to the presidency as saying. The "martyrs' graveyard" is a Prishtina cemetery reserved for fallen UCK fighters. Many in the UCK were fiercely critical of Rugova for supporting passive resistance rather than embracing their armed struggle against Serbian rule. But Reuters quoted an unidentified source in the Kosova Protection Corps, the civilian successor to the UCK, as saying that the corps will participate in the burial ceremony and "act in accordance" with the decision of the funeral committee.
