speak                     about Nikola Tesla's achievements.

Nikola Tesla (1856 - 1943) was one of the most fascinating scientists of the
20th century. He invented and developed the technology that brought us
electricity, radio transmission, remote control, neon and fluorescent lighting,
and had a hand in most of the basic inventions that now connect the world with
electric power and communication. He was brilliant and charismatic man who
advanced the world into the modern industrial era.

People around the world will mark the 150th anniversary of the birth of Nikola
Tesla this year. Canadian Serbs in partnership with The Niagara Parks Commission
are going to unveil a monument in honor of Nikola Tesla within the NPC's Queens
Victoria Park in Niagara Falls on July 10, 2006. It'll mark the 150th
anniversary of Nikola Tesla's birthday and honor inventor Nikola Tesla whose
genius was applied at the Adam Beck Generating Station in Niagara Falls at the
turn of the 20th century.
