Moscow - A top Russian heart specialist on Tuesday
repeated allegations that former Yugoslav leader
Slobodan Milosevic could have been saved if he had
been examined adequately.
Leo Bokeria, spoke before heading to The Hague among a
team of Russian doctors planning to study the autopsy
results.
He is the head of G&M Scov's Bakudev Clinic, the
nation's premier medical facility for treating heart
ailments.
Bokeria said he believed the right medical
examinations of Milosevic could have prevented his
death.
"It's a great regret that they did not heed our
numerous appeals during examination," said Bokeria.
