Belarus urges West against interfering in internal affairs
MINSK - Belarus is insistently urging the European Union and the United
States against interfering in the republic's internal affairs, the
Belarusian Foreign Ministry said in a statement Sunday.
According to the statement, the European Union and the United States "are
trying to engage in wishful thinking on issues related to the internal
political situation in Belarus.
The Belarusian Foreign Ministry said the situation in the republic was calm.
Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko was re-elected for another term in
March 19 presidential elections.
However, the opposition leaders disputed the election results, bringing
