Beta News (Serbia) December 27, 2006 KFOR decision puzzling ORAHOVAC - Serbs and Romas in Orahovac have been upset by KFOR’s decision to leave their base in the Kosovo town. Orahovac Coordinator Dejan Baljošević said that the decision to leave is puzzling, considering that the Serbian and Roma communities have been living in the area under international protection for over seven years. Without announcement, KFOR removed its forces, vehicles and equipment from their base in the northern part of Orahovac on Monday. Baljošević claims that the Serbs see this move as further proof that KFOR never had intentions of protecting the Serbs and Romas in the region, rather to strictly implement their already-completed plan for a slow removal of presence from the region. He said that the presence of several dozen KFOR soldiers in the area brought a feeling of security to the minority communities. “We tried to find out more, but we are being told that KFOR is not pulling out, but relocating their forces to a check point above the Serbian village of Velika Hoča.” Baljošević said. ------------------------------------------------------ http://www.b92.net/eng/news/politics-article.php?yyyy=2006&mm=12&dd=27&nav_c ategory=90&nav_id=38867 Beta News (Serbia) December 27, 2006 Serbian Minister in Kosovo threatened PRIŠTINA - The Kosovo Police Service confirmed that the Kosovo Return Minister received threats on Tuesday.
