"He described Kosovo, which was annexed to Serbia after the disintegration
of Yugoslavia in the 1990s, as "Europe's apartheid". During this time,
former Serbian president Slobodan Milosevic implemented discriminatory and
repressive policies in a bid to shift the balance of power from the Albanian
majority (85%) to the Serb minority (15%). Ethnic Albanians were expelled en
masse from state institutions. In March 1999, Serbia launched an offensive
in Kosovo, perpetrating acts of ethnic cleansing in the Albanian community".
This is completely false statement, as Kosovo was not
"annexed" after the disintegration of Yugoslavia in no way, but was from the
middle ages a part of Serbia and the cradle
of its history. But it is not what is most important.
Without refereeing to history, Kosovo recognized in 2000 by the UN SC
resolution 1244 as a integral part of Serbia in its
continuity faced certain problems of self segregation of
Albanian minority. There are numerous documents proving that Albanians
always had a certain degree of autonomy and
cultural liberties which Serbs today do not benefit even
under the cover of US/NATO troops."Europe's apartheid" at the ethnically
pure territory ? If you read your own writings,
" The Albanian majority (85%), to the Serbs minority (
15%)", where is the apartheid situated, most particularly if you know that
Serbs are living in ghettos ?
Concerning the "ethnic cleansing" , there are 1.8 of
Albanians in the Serbian province, before 1999 they were 1.2 millions, and
Serbs who were 500 000 are today only a couple of tens of thousands.
If after all one can call it "ethnic cleansing" than the
simple mathematical operations like addition or subtraction should be banned
from this exact science.
The real problem however is that Albanians self segregated
themselves, and search today the international help to get a readymade state
with the use of force. The prove is that there are no
Serbian authorities on the spot but the foreign troops, that
Serbs were ethnically cleansed, that their historical and cultural monuments
are systematically destroyed and that the UN/EU/NATO
did not respect their own SC resolution .All the rest is
just a try to condition the public opinion against Serbs. You should admit
that in Darfour where hundreds of thousands died and were expelled,
none of those "humanitarians" would move a small finger to
claim whatsoever, but there is a world necessity to satisfy Albanian greed
for independence. It is a paradox isn't it ?
