Serb girl raped, young man beaten in Gracanica
Representatives of the Kosovo Police Service confirmed that three unknown
persons on Monday night in Gracanica, near Pristina, kidnapped and raped a
Serb girl, while a young man of Serb nationality who had been with her had
been beaten and robbed. The police are intensively searching for the
perpetrators, said regional spokesperson of the Kosovo Police Service Agron
Borovci. He specified that a vehicle had stopped the car with the victims,
three persons had come out and dragged the young man out, beat him and
closed him in the trunk, while the girl was raped. Their car was stolen, as
well as their personal belongings, and they were released near the place
Ajvalija. The Gracanica press center announced that the victims of the
attack were Srecko Djurovic from Gracanica and Irena Keselj from Mladenovac.
They were taken to the Simonida hospital in Gracanica.
