Any decision by UN SC on Kosovo to be legitimate - FM
MOSCOW - Any decision on a future status of Kosovo may
be legitimate, if it is approved by the UN Security
Council, and not the European Union or the United
States, a source in the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
“A very responsible period of work is underway and the
December 10 deadline is drawing near,” the diplomatic
official said.
“Russia will support any decision satisfactory for
both parties, but on the condition either side
participates in negotiations.
"Any decision on the status of Kosovo can be
legitimate, if it is approved by the UN Security
Council, and not the European Union or the United
States.
"There is no bargaining between Russia and the United
States over the issue. This is not our style of work.”
