“KOSOVAR” DEMOCRACY COMES TO LONDON .
Ian Johnson The public meeting “Kosovo: A Preventable Disaster” held by the Lord Byron Foundation for Balkan Studies on Thursday, January 17, 2008, in Westminster, London, experienced democratic debate ‘Kosovar’ style with the continued disruption of the meeting by pro-independence ‘Kosovar’s’ It would seem that any objective debate on the future status of the south Serbian province of Kosovo-Metohija has to be opposed at all costs, with slogans and propaganda replacing a deeper and more profound analysis. Moreover the aggressive and intimidating atmosphere generated by these ‘Kosovar’ hoodlums, as outlined in the first hand account below, is what apparently awaits anyone who dares to oppose the creation of a gangster state within Europe: do not oppose drug trafficking, do not oppose people trafficking, accept foreign domination and a dog eat dog existence, such will be the reality of stealing this territory from Serbia. We let conference participant JK explain how the truth about events in Yugoslavia was denied the assembled audience, in the very heart of London , no doubt a foretaste of what the independence of Kosovo for non-KLA supporters will mean. KOSOVO: A PREVENTABLE DISASTER “I made it to the conference - Got a cheap air ticket - Felt it important to show our colours in support of the conference even though the only speaker we would have totally agreed with would be Ambassador Bissett whose track record in my experience over the years re the Balkans War has been flawless. It was during Ambassador Bissett's talk when the 'Kosovar' exploded into his act - Ambassador Bissett was at the time speaking of the real body count in Kosovo rather than the media version of 'mass graves ..' The meeting unfortunately came to a stand still whilst half those in attendance suggested getting the security guards to have the 'Kosovars' removed from the building and the other half said they should be permitted to stay if they promised to be quiet. During this time the 'Kosovar' continued his rant - The security guard was called - He attempted to escort him out but the pro let-him-stay- lobby won as the ranter promised to be quiet. He was quiet for around 5 minutes then his fellow Kosovars showed their faces in the audience and they all then began screaming and making it impossible to continue - Then the final guest speaker who was not on the original list of speakers launched into his anti Serb anti Yugoslavia stuff - EG - All killings and crimes he blamed on the Serbs and he blamed the Serbs/Yugoslav Government for starting the war ... And on and on he went at the same time he could not hide his delight at the performance of the 'Kosovars' Why was this man invited on to the panel I don't know - He then said that to finish he wanted to ask the panel questions and keep an eye on the audience for audience response - I managed to say a few words in support of Serge Trifkovic and Ambassador Bissett but was completely shattered by that stage - There was so much to say but no time to say it. Unfortunately his name did not come up on the list of speakers (print out below - shame John Laughland could not make it although no explanation was given). I have asked Yugo (the event organizer) for name of the speaker - All I can remember is that he is/was advisor to the UK government - Need I say any more ?” Unfortunately the above is far from an isolated incident, indeed there is a history of political thuggery with these anti-Yugoslav and anti-democratic forces, as JK goes on to explain: “The behavior of the 'Kosovars' at the conference was typical. Over the years since around 1992 they would install themselves into the audience at public meetings in Dublin or Cork or elsewhere in Ireland and within a short time launch into their act - of course in those days they appeared in the form of ’Bosniaks’ having miraculously escaped the Bosnian Serb 'torture chambers/concentration camps' to make their way to Ireland as 'innocent ethnically cleansed refugees.. It was obvious to us that they were not all innocent civilians - They were vicious. Then there were other characters who backed them up at meetings - One man in particular who, on some occasions, claimed to be Libyan - on other occasions he would be from Bosnia or Kosovo - He physically attacked us in Trinity College in Dublin (1994/5) as we attempted to offer some truths on the Balkans War. One thing I believe we can say for sure is that he has been a mercenary in various war zones. He still turns up at meetings and totally disrupts the flow of the event - ruins the meeting. The last time was just in September last year when the anti war group held a public meeting in Dublin on the subject of mercenaries and the use of private mercenary forces in Iraq. He again began screaming and totally disrupting the meeting and unnerving people in attendance. This time he was accompanied by two other terrifying looking characters. Those of us in Ireland who campaign for truth re the Balkans war would not even attempt to hold a public meeting on that issue as we would be totally blocked out and terrorized by the likes of our 'Kosovar/Bosniak/Libyan' stalkers. The only possible way to function has been to quickly distribute leaflets at the door of venues where eg anti war public meetings are being held. At least though after all these years there is a growing number of people who now realize that they were totally propagandized on the Balkans War and they are always looking for the latest information - They do this on the quiet in the main ...” Advertised speakers at the Conference.
