Sarajevo - The original copy of the Dayton Peace Agreement that ended
the 1992-1995 war in Bosnia-Herzegovina is missing from the country's
presidency, media reported Thursday in Sarajevo quoting the presidency's
chairman Zeljko Komsic. "We found out that the original copy of the
Dayton Peace Agreement is missing from the archives of the presidency,"
President Komsic told reporters in Sarajevo.

He said investigators would enter the presidential building to try to
find out what happened to the document of great political and historic
importance for Bosnia-Herzegovina.

The then presidents Alija Izetbegovic of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Franjo
Tudjman of Croatia and Slobodan Milosevic of the Federal Republic of
Yugoslavia (FRY) signed in 1995 the Dayton Peace Agreement to officially
end the 43-month-long bloodshed in Bosnia- Herzegovina.

Some annexes of the document have served since then as the country's
constitution.
