My Dear People,

This is the letter I sent today to The Day of New London to protest the
declaration if indendence of Kosovo. May God have mercy on our souls.

TO THE EDITOR OF THE DAY,

February 17, 2008 is another terribly sad day in the life and history of the
Orthodox Christian world. Kosovo, the Jerusalem of Orthodox Christian
Serbia, was declared an independent Muslim state in the belly of Europe.
The tragedy of this event for our Judeo-Christian Western Civilization is
that bankrupt American and European policies in the Balkans have deeded this
strategic province to the Muslim fundamentalists. This puts the KLA, an
Albanian terrorist organization, in a very favorable position to now annex
the FYROM, the Former Republic of Macedonia, in its master plan to create a
Greater Albania. What will be the next venture, the acquisition of the
Greek Macedonia? What about its ramifications with other countries
throughout the world?

Since 1999 when the UN security force took over the peacekeeping
responsibilities of Kosovo, 200,000 Orthodox Christian Serbs and Roma were
forced out their homes and country by violent KLA terrorist’s actions. Also
since 1999 the KLA has embarked on the systematic destruction of Serbian
Orthodox parishes, properties, monasteries and art. It is estimated that
over 200 Orthodox Monasteries and Churches have been destroyed by the KLA.
Priceless treasures of Christian Art have been destroyed by this enemy of
Christianity.

The great tragedy for me, an Orthodox Christian of Greek immigrant parents,
is that after five hundred years of Muslim tyranny that was defeated in
1910-12, Islam’s ugly head is rearing itself again in that part of the
world. It is being funded by the petrodollars of Arab States.

The naive and politically correct policies of our politicians in Washington
and Europe, including our sleepwalking president, are caving in to the
devious efforts of the Muslim world. Europe has just about divested itself
of its Christian roots. Most Europeans have abandoned their Christian way of
life leaving a spiritual vacuum that certainly will be filled by Islam. The
leader of the former Christian country of Britain, the Archbishop of
Canterbury, has advocated that sharia law be given legal status in England.
Need we say anything more?

My wife and I were in Greece in May of 1999 when Bill Clinton ordered the
bombing of Serbia back to the Stone Age. American jets were bombing a
faithful Christian nation with uranium tipped bombs. The consequences of
that tragedy are manifesting themselves today in Kosovo. But the unknown
tragedy of that action is the increased numbers of cancer victims attributed
to the radiation caused by those uranium tipped bombs. May God have mercy
on our souls?
