The chief of the election camp of the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) for
Belgrade, Alekandar Antic, said that by May 25 they will find an agreement
over the formation of the government in Belgrade with Kostunica's DSS
(Democratic Party of Serbia) and Seselj's SRS (Serbian Radical Party),
Serbian B92 reports.

- We now have to face that part of negotiations which concerns the
accordance of the party leaders over the agreement which has been reached -
said Antic, stating he expects to sign a coalition agreement between the
three parties by the end of the week.

The long expected agreement is coming up

He estimated that negotiations will be successful and that only few more
details are still to discuss, and will be settled within a very short time.

- By settling the last details we will end the negotiations over the
formation of the government of Belgrade - said the camp chief.

Deputy president of the SRS, Tomislav Nikolic, stated that the presidency of
this party has allowed to sign a coalition agreement with the DSS-NS and the
SPS-PUPS-JS.

- The presidency of the SRS made the decision to allow the signing of a
coalition agreement, so, as far as we are concerned, this job is concluded
and can be carried out within a very short time - said Nikolic.

The secretary chief of the Serbian Radical Party, Aleksandar Vucic, who is
also running to be mayor of Belgrade, also stated that by the end of the
week he expects the coalition agreement to be signed.

All the parties agreed that now follows an agreement at a national level and
a coalition agreement through which the parties which will rule Belgrade,
will also rule Serbia.
