U.S. criticizes Kosovo for poor lobbying (Koha Ditore)

On the front page the paper cites a report from KTV that U.S. Deputy
Assistant Secretary Rosemary DiCarlo, during her recent visit to Kosovo, not
only praised the progress of the Kosovo Government but also expressed the
view of the U.S. administration that it is not pleased with the work of
Kosovo institutions in lobbying for recognition of independence.

"Part of the joint American-Kosovo plan was to have 97 recognitions by
September. Afterwards, Kosovo would apply for membership in the UN, when the
General Assembly convenes," an unnamed international official told KTV. The
source added that this plan could very well fail because of the small number
of recognitions and the inefficiency of the Kosovo Government to lobby.
