Kosovo independence broke International Law and with so many EU countries like Spain and Romania refusing to recognise Kosovo, the statelet had effectively zero chance of ever joining the EU. He said that only 30 countries recognised Kosovo around the world while 50 refused to for their own national reasons and therefore Kosovo would find it impossible to join a number of international organisations.
