EU postpones again implementation of trade pact with Serbia

BRUSSELS, July 29 (Xinhua) -- European Union ambassadors agreed here
Tuesday to delay for another time the implementation of a keytrade
pact with Serbia, despite the capture of former Bosnian Serbleader
Radovan Karadzic, according to EU diplomats.
The ambassadors decided at a meeting to wait until Karadzic is handed
over to The Hague-based International Criminal Tribunal for former
Yugoslavia (ICTY) and for the court's chief prosecutor Serge Brammertz
to endorse Serbia's full cooperation with the tribunal, a string
attached to Serbia's bid for EU membership.
