The daily states that the public administration has four times more employees now than it did in 2000. All the related expenses— state-financed wages, pensions and other payments—according to a rough estimate, amount to about EUR 15bn. The wages for public administration employees alone eat into one-tenth of gross domestic product, which is about EUR 3.5bn, the daily writes. http://www.b92.net/eng/news/society-article.php?yyyy=2009 <http://www.b92.net/eng/news/society-article.php?yyyy=2009&mm=01&dd=29&nav_i d=56785> &mm=01&dd=29&nav_id=56785
