Reason why Shiptars use Serbian monasteries as their “cultural heritage”…….
Framework Convention on the Value of Cultural Heritage for Society (Faro, 2005) The Framework Convention on the Value of Cultural Heritage for Society was adopted on 27 October 2005 in Faro (Portugal) and will come into force upon the deposit of ten ratifications (Council of Europe Treaty Series no. 199). It is open for signature by member states of the Council of Europe and for accession by the European Community and European non-member states. The Faro Framework Convention is intended to underpin existing Council of Europe instruments on more specific aspects of cultural heritage. It does not concern the legal and administrative heritage protection mechanisms already set out in the previous Granada and Valletta Conventions, but focuses instead on the ethics and principles of the use and development of heritage in a Europe affected by globalisation. Cultural heritages are resources from which to develop dialogue, democratic debate and openness between cultures. http://www.coe.int/t/dg4/cultureheritage/conventions/heritage/faro_en-1.jpg <http://www.coe.int/t/dg4/cultureheritage/conventions/heritage/faro_pres_en. asp#TopOfPage> Presentation http://www.coe.int/t/dg4/cultureheritage/conventions/heritage/faro_en-1.jpgT ext <http://conventions.coe.int/Treaty/EN/Treaties/Html/199.htm> of the Convention http://www.coe.int/t/dg4/cultureheritage/conventions/heritage/faro_en-1.jpgE xplanatory <http://conventions.coe.int/Treaty/EN/Reports/Html/199.htm> report http://www.coe.int/t/dg4/cultureheritage/conventions/heritage/faro_en-1.jpgP arties to the Convention <http://conventions.coe.int/Treaty/Commun/ChercheSig.asp?NT=199&CM=8&DF=&CL= ENG>
