Agim Ceku is strong supporter of Kosovo region’s integration in NATO: political 
scientist Kahif Bakiu  
 
  
Sofia - General Agim Ceku is not an ordinary commander in the Kosovo Liberation 
Army. He is a big personality both in Kosovo and the Balkans’ political life. 

He has a clear vision and is one of strongest supporters of Kosovo region’s 
integration in NATO, political scientist Kahif Bakiu said for FOCUS News Agency.

He had paid visits to Bulgaria at the invitation of his friend, former foreign 
minister Solomon Passy. 

[Passy pushed for Bulgaria's NATO membership as an MP while his nation was 
still in the Warsaw Pact. In fact in 1990 he was the founding President and CEO 
of the Atlantic Club of Bulgaria, an 'NGO' that lobbied for NATO membership.

They have worked for a long time in two key directions - the integration of 
Kosovo into Euro-Atlantic structures and in particular the establishment of an 
Atlantic Club in Kosovo.
